Elesa+Ganter 111101 HCY.76-E-NO-M10 Oil Electrical Level Indicator

The Elesa+Ganter 111101 oil electrical level indicator, model HCY.76-E-NO-M10, is designed for visual oil level monitoring with an integrated minimum level electrical sensor. It is used in hydraulic systems where both manual inspection and electrical level signalling are required.

How This Indicator Works

The HCY.76-E-NO-M10 combines a column-style transparent body with an internal float and reed contact system. The “NO” version means normally open. In operation, the electrical contact closes when the oil reaches the minimum set level, allowing the system to trigger a signal, alarm, or control response.

Technical Details

This model has an M10 screw connection and a 76 mm nominal level distance. The body is made from transparent PA-T technopolymer, while the float is red polyamide-based technopolymer with a built-in magnetic element. The unit includes NBR synthetic rubber O-rings and nickel-plated brass screws.

The protection class is IP65, supporting resistance against water spray when correctly installed. The maximum continuous working temperature with oil is 80°C. For the NO contact version, the maximum applicable voltage is 230 Vac / 230 Vdc, maximum switching current is 2A, and maximum commutable power is 40 W / 40 V.A.

Typical Applications

The Elesa+Ganter 111101 HCY.76-E-NO-M10 oil electrical level indicator is suitable for compact hydraulic power units, lubrication tanks, industrial machinery, presses, and automation systems where low oil level detection is important.

Elesa+Ganter 111101 HCY.76-E-NO-M10 Oil Indicator FAQ

What is the function of the HCY.76-E-NO-M10?

It allows visual oil level checking and provides an electrical signal when the oil reaches the minimum level.

What does NO mean?

NO means normally open. The contact closes when the minimum oil level is reached.

What is the protection class?

The connector output has IP65 protection when assembled correctly.

What is the working temperature limit?

The maximum continuous working temperature with oil is 80°C.

Can it be mounted near magnetic fields?

No. It should not be installed near magnetic fields because the sensor uses a magnetic float and reed contact system.
