Eleasa+Ganter 11056 HCV.76-E-STL-NO-M10 Electrical Level Indicator
Technical Overview
The Elesa+Ganter 11056 HCV.76-E-STL-NO-M10 electrical level indicator is designed for hydraulic systems that require visual oil level monitoring, minimum level signalling and analogue temperature measurement. Unlike ST versions that provide a fixed maximum temperature signal, the STL version uses a temperature probe to support continuous temperature reading through resistance variation.
Material and Mechanical Design
The indicator body is made from transparent PA-T technopolymer, selected for strength, visibility and resistance to oils, solvents and hydrocarbon-based fluids. The float is produced from black glass-fibre reinforced PA technopolymer and includes a magnetic element for level detection. The HCV.76 format uses M10 mounting and is suitable for compact reservoir installations where panel space is limited.
Temperature Probe Function
The STL probe measures temperature through a platinum element. The resistance is approximately 100 ohms at 0°C and 138.4 ohms at 100°C. This allows connected systems to read temperature trends rather than receiving only a fixed high-temperature alarm. Because the signal level is low, cable routing should be planned carefully. Screened cable and proper grounding can help reduce electrical noise in demanding industrial environments.
NO Level Contact
The Elesa+Ganter 11056 HCV.76-E-STL-NO-M10 electrical level indicator uses a normally open MIN level contact. The contact closes when the minimum fluid level is reached. The MIN level sensor supports AC/DC supply, with NO voltage values up to 140 Vac and 200 Vdc in the standard connector version. The maximum switching current is 1 A, and the maximum NO current is 1.2 A.
Elesa+Ganter 11056 HCV.76-E-STL-NO-M10 Indicator FAQ
What makes the Elesa+Ganter 11056 different from ST models?
The 11056 STL model includes an analogue temperature probe rather than only a fixed 80°C maximum temperature switch.
What product type is this model?
It is an electrical level indicator with MIN level sensor and temperature probe.
What does NO mean?
NO means normally open. The level contact closes when the minimum oil level is reached.
Why is cable routing important for STL models?
The temperature probe uses low-level resistance signals, so cables should be kept away from motors, switchgear and noisy power lines.
Where is this indicator typically used?
It is used in hydraulic tanks, lubrication units and machinery where both oil level and temperature trend monitoring are required.
